I have been an Information & Research Consultant and principal of Enterprise Information Management for over 35 years, specialising in online information in all subject areas.
My background in electronic information is of value in the current information climate. I am a qualified librarian, hold a BA and Dip. Lib., am an Associate of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and have achieved Registered Indexer status with the Australian & New Zealand Society of Indexers (ANZSI). I have also partially completed an MBA.
In my role as Research Consultant, I have provided business, government and not-for-profit clients with assistance & training in information research. I host a series of Research Seminars on Business Information & Search Strategies on the Internet for the career transition industry. In addition, I provide one-to-one research assistance to individual clients.
I have also been co-editor of "Online Currents", a journal originally published by my own company (Enterprise Information Management Pty Ltd) and then by Thomson Legal & Regulatory. "Online Currents" was the primary journal for Australian information professionals from 1986 to 2005. In 2008, my business partner and I were awarded VALA's Robert D Williamson Award for an "outstanding contribution to the development of information technology usage in Australian libraries and information services”.
